Use
The transmitter and receiver are already paired and set up with the correct settings. If the transmitter and receiver lose the pairing, they must be paired again. Also, if you want to connect multiple transmitters to the receiver, you will need to pair them.
- Pairing the transmitter and receiver; briefly press the learning button (3 seconds) until the red learning indicator LED lights up. Then press any button on the transmitter. The red learning indicator LED will blink twice to confirm a successful pairing. You can pair up to 20 transmitters to one receiver. Unpairing the transmitter and receiver; hold the learning button pressed for 5 seconds, the LED will then blink 3 times and all transmitters are unpaired from the receiver.
Safety
This radio remote control is specially designed for use on tail lifts. Therefore, multiple options are built in for the safest possible use of the tail lift.
The following options are specially built in for your safety:
- 2-minute shutdown; the control will automatically shut down after 2 minutes if not used. To turn it back on, the ON button on the front of the transmitter must be pressed again.
- Chip with learning code; high-security level, more than 1 million different unique addresses minimize the chance of a duplicate address and thus signal interference.
- Range of 10-15 meters; the range of approximately 10-15 meters between transmitter and receiver ensures that the tail lift operator maintains visibility of the tail lift.
- ON-OFF buttons on the front of the handheld transmitter; these buttons turn the receiver on and off. In case of an emergency, the OFF button will act as an emergency stop.
- Extra ON-OFF switch; there is an additional ON-OFF switch on the back of the transmitter to manually turn off the transmitter to interrupt the signal or to save the batteries if the transmitter is not used for an extended period.
- Opposite commands; if opposite commands are given, such as lifting and lowering at the same time, the system will block until the opposite command is canceled.
- Intervention block; if a disturbing signal enters on the same frequency, the system will block.
- A disturbing signal can never establish an unwanted connection since this disturbing signal does not know the unique code of the system.
