LAB-tests
Reflectivity values of flags
To use reflective flags, they must meet specific (German) legal requirements. Both the red/white stripes and the reflectivity values are measured. After official approval, a number is assigned, the unique K number. The K number is a registration linked to Haco as the manufacturer. Germany leads the way in Europe with this. With this K approval number, these flags may be used on public roads throughout Europe, for extra safety!

Cleanliness test
Contaminants after production and after the pump rinsing process can cause serious damage to the pump and other parts in the system. Through the cleanliness test (rinsing) developed by HTC and using a microscope, we can detect any remaining contaminants.

Functionality test
During this test, it is checked whether all functions, for example, on a circuit board, are present. Also, the sizes of other items must remain within tolerance to prevent unwanted friction/wear/play. This ensures functionality!

Durability test
Durability tests are carried out not only to assess quality but also to evaluate lifespan.
Naturally, we aim for a long lifespan (less environmentally damaging!)

Stiffness and hardness of rubber products
Here, the stiffness and hardness of the rubber, including the foot pedal, are measured. The hardness of the rubber is measured using a Shore “A” meter. The rubber must not be too hard or too soft and must return to its original position well and yet be wear-resistant.
