1986 – Establishment of HACO Tail Lift service

HACO Tail Lift Service was founded by Tanny and Harold in Apeldoorn. The registration took place at the Chamber of Commerce in Zutphen. HACO specializes in the refurbishment of tail lifts. Operations are conducted from an apartment building on Parelvisserstraat in Apeldoorn. Since there is no dedicated workshop available yet, repairs are currently carried out in a workshop in Ede. Sometime later, we relocated to Lage Brink in Apeldoorn.


Major fire – 1994

The commercial building is destroyed by a major fire. This occurred at the location of de Lage Brink in Apeldoorn. We temporarily relocated to Prinsweide 2b.


1996 – New building

HACO occupies the newly constructed building on Nagelpoelweg in Apeldoorn-Zuid.


We are growing – 2001

The HACO team consists of 8 employees.


2008 – New owner

HACO is getting a new owner. The new strategy is being implemented. A complete range of tail lift parts will be developed under our own brand. As a result, the HACO brand will take further shape.


HACO Technology Center – 2010

At the end of 2010, the HACO Technology Center is established. In this knowledge center, HACO parts are developed and tested. The cylinders are subjected to very harsh conditions on HACO’s specially developed test bench. At HACO Tail Lift Parts, the emphasis is on strict incoming inspections of all components to ensure product quality.


2011 – 25th Anniversary

In 3 years, HACO Tail Lift Parts grows from 8 to 25 employees, and the premises become too small. A location is sought to build a new building. The HACO brand is established in the market. HACO Tail Lift Parts is now the market leader in replacement parts for tail lifts in Europe.
As a result, both imports and exports grow.


New building – 2012

In September, HACO Tail Lift Parts moves to the new premises. With a warehouse spanning over 2500 m2 located at Laan van de Ram 11 in Apeldoorn-North. The opening is celebrated grandly with our partners from both domestic and international realms.


2015 – New Management

In 2015, David Hunink and Ömer Ersan take over the management of the company. Both gentlemen have been working at HACO since the beginning of their careers. David is responsible for operational matters such as procurement, logistics, quality, and product development. Ömer oversees sales and marketing. Together, they bring a new impetus to the company and drive innovation.


HACO celebrates 30 years – 2016

30 years of success in the market. The HACO team now consists of 28 employees. They work hard every day to achieve new successes and be innovative. The year 2016 is also a year of renewal. This is reflected in the appearance of the revamped website, corporate film, and the HACO catalog.

ISO 9001 – 2018

Haco Tail Lift Parts has successfully completed the implementation of the ISO 9001-2015 certification. Since December 2017, we have been actively working on implementing the international ISO standard. We are proud to announce that as of July 2018, we are ISO 9001-2015 certified.


2019 – Expansion

Due to our strong growth in recent years, we had outgrown our current space. The shelves were filling up, and space was becoming increasingly limited. In line with the style of our current building, we have therefore expanded. We have doubled our pallet spaces and also created a larger area for marketing, among other things.


Configurator – 2021

To further enhance our customer service, we introduced the configurator this year. With the help of this configurator, products can be quickly and easily customized. In 5 steps, a generator or hydraulic hose is configured and ordered. A unique ID is created, making it easy to reorder these customized products


2023 – Expansion of warehouse workstations

As we continue to grow, space in the warehouse has become limited.
We have now created 10 additional workstations to ensure efficient work for warehouse staff and to provide a safer working environment.


Mezzanine floor – 2023

Due to the growth of our warehouse, we have installed a mezzanine floor. This has provided us with additional space for storing our products.


2024 – New building

In May, HACO acquired a second building. The building is located diagonally opposite to the current one. It will be used to further improve our inventory management.


R&D product tests space – 2024

Haco Technology Centre has an additional lab space! We can test products faster using our latest technology: Bambu Lab X1E 3D printer! Our printer is a gamechanger for our prototyping process, allowing us to test faster than ever before using the latest technologies. This ensures that we can always maintain our quality standards.


2024 – Website

We have launched a new website! This provides our customers with a better, more efficient, and user-friendly experience.
