Reflection measurement in flags

Flag production with KBA approval

To produce and supply flags with KBA approval, we must meet strict conditions. One of these conditions is ensuring Conformity of Production (COP). This ensures that the quality and parameters of production are guaranteed. As a flag manufacturer, we are assigned a K-number once we meet these requirements. With this number, our flags are approved as warning objects for use on public roads. This is a crucial requirement!

Reflection measurement

For us, quality goes beyond just production. We conduct reflection measurements to check the reflection values of both the red and white on our flags. During these measurements, the ‘correct’ shade of red (intensity) is measured and then compared to a CIE color system.

Certification mark

To be sure you are working with the right flags, check the certification mark that has been added. If the original certification mark is K1214 or K2072, then you have the correct one, and the flags comply with German law.

If you want to ensure high-quality flags with the right reflection values and prioritize safety as well, contact us today or take a look at our range. Discover the quality of our flags!

Roughness measurement

Did you know that the roughness of a surface, such as on tail lifts, affects the life of the product? Smooth surfaces are less susceptible to external influences that cause corrosion, and are more wear-resistant. With our roughness measurements, we determine the state of the surface so that you can extend the life of your tail lift if necessary. Find out more here!
