Point of gravity marking and load diagram
Marking load point of gravity
The point of gravity marking is the position on the platform where the maximum load is permitted. This must be permanently marked.
This is often done by means of two triangular plates that are attached to the sides of the platform, at the distance of the point of gravity. An alternative method is to mark the point of the platform, for example with a rivet in the middle for a Bär Cargolift, or a round plate with the maximum load for a Mariba tail lift.
