Drive with a hydro motor

The main advantage of a drive with a hydraulic motor is the direct power transmission to both suspension plates, resulting in smooth and controlled movement, unlike a drive with a sliding cylinder.

Another advantage is that less substructure length is required when using a hydraulic motor. Gears are mounted on both sides of the frame, which engage with the toothed racks (rack and pinion) or chains attached to the carriage. The direction of rotation is reversed by reversing the oil flow in the hydraulic motor. This is controlled by a 4/3 valve mounted on the hydraulic motor via a valve block.
