2-Hand operation 2-foot operation
Tail lifts must be equipped with a 2-hand safety operation. This obliges the driver to use both their legs or hands.
This prevents the upper or lower limbs or head from becoming trapped between the platform and the rear frame of the truck. The use of any other operating method not based on 2-foot operation is at your own risk. The 2-foot operation is installed on the platform. Because it is mandatory to use both feet for the lifting and lowering functions, the operator is always in a safe position, directly at the buttons of the foot controls. This prevents toes, feet, or limbs from being trapped between the edge of the rising platform and the rear bar of the vehicle floor.
