Mechanical platform protection
Due to internal/external oil leakage, the pressure in the system may drop.
A mechanical platform lock prevents the platform from unintentionally opening/descending while driving.
Although its use is mandatory in some countries, it is allowed to omit it in others, provided that solenoid valves are applied to the cylinders. However, it is strongly recommended to equip every tail lift with a mechanical platform lock. This not only increases safety but also ensures that the platform remains securely in place during transport.
Some platform locks can prevent unauthorized use of the platform.
