CABINESWITCH (TÜV)
A cabin switch can be optionally installed on the dashboard of the driver’s cabin. The operator can use this switch to turn the power to the tail lift on and off. He can also lock the cabin so that the tail lift is secured against unauthorized use. With a angle sensor in the tail lift, it is also possible with some cabin switches to see if the tail lift is open. A cabin switch is mandatory in Germany and optional for the rest of Europe (TÜV rule).
