Manual control or remote control
The manual control has the same functionality as the foot control and is available in 2- and 3-button versions. It is used for lifting and lowering the tail lift, with the third button, usually in the center, acting as a safety function.
The hand control should only be used from inside the bucket or at a specially marked foot mark on the platform. If the hand control is used from the ground, it must be at least 20 cm away from the side of the platform. Often the hand control is linked to the safety switch in the control box, which disables the outside controls when the hand control is used.

Inside control
The inside control has only the functions for lifting and lowering just like the manual control. It prevents entrapment between the platform and the rear frame by operating only from the bucket.
Outdoor & foot controls
An outside control is the central point for operating the loading ramp, with safe functions and a selector switch. Foot controls allow hands-free operation, using both feet to operate buttons on the platform and prevent entrapment.
Radio remote controls
These controls allow the tail lift to be operated from various locations.
